Satellite 接收机

The Salcom Satellite 接收机 creates the ability to implement messaging networks independent of a terrestrial data carrier by utilising digital satellite TV providers to deliver messaging data to remote transmitters not covered by existing networks.

消息s are sent from the Salcom 消息 servers via the Free View satellite television
service (DVB-S) to the receiver. 消息s are output in a standard messaging protocol for connection to a paging transmitter.

• Operates over existing DVB-S network (AUS/NZ Only)
• Can be migrated onto other satellite networks.
• Self-resets on data loss event.
• Can be deployed in areas not covered by terrestrial data networks.
• Uses standard DVB-S dishes and LNB’s (Freeview or SKY).
• Fast message delivery time through network (typically 8 – 10 seconds)
